Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of vclac.com, including the pages, materials, and other online content made available through the website (collectively, the “Site”), operated by VC Law & Consultancy (the “Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge these Terms and agree to comply with them and with applicable laws. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Site. These Terms govern use of the Site only and do not replace or modify any separate engagement letter, legal services agreement, power of attorney, or other agreement governing legal services provided by the Firm.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your access to or use of the Site, including reading its content or communicating with the Firm through general website channels, does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship, a prospective-client relationship, or any other legal or professional relationship between you and VC Law & Consultancy or any Firm lawyer or professional. An attorney-client relationship is established only through an appropriate professional engagement and acceptance by the Firm. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal advice, a legal opinion, or a recommendation concerning your particular circumstances. You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on information presented on the Site. The Site contains general legal and informational material relating primarily to legal matters and services in Türkiye. Laws, regulations, administrative practices, court decisions, and legal interpretations may change, and information that is accurate when published may later become incomplete or outdated. The applicability of any legal information depends on the specific facts, circumstances, jurisdiction, and time involved. The Site should therefore not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer regarding a specific matter. Descriptions of legal services, procedures, possible outcomes, estimated processes, or examples appearing on the Site do not constitute a promise, representation, or guarantee that a particular result will be achieved in any individual matter.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You must not use the Site in a manner that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of the Firm or another person, interferes with the operation or security of the Site, introduces malicious code, attempts unauthorized access, impersonates the Firm or another person, or uses Site content for unauthorized commercial purposes. You must not systematically copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Site or its content without the Firm’s prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by applicable law. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from technical defects. We may also correct, update, remove, or change Site content without notice when we consider this appropriate.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its content, including the Firm’s name, logo, text, original graphics, design, organization, and other materials, are owned by VC Law & Consultancy or used by the Firm with appropriate rights and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Your use of the Site does not transfer any ownership or other intellectual property rights to you. You may view and use Site content for ordinary personal and informational purposes, but you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected Site content without the Firm’s prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law.

Third-Party Websites and Content

The Site may contain links or references to websites, platforms, or resources operated by third parties. Such third-party services are independent from VC Law & Consultancy and are governed by their own terms, policies, and practices. The Firm does not control or guarantee the accuracy, availability, security, or content of third-party websites and does not endorse them merely because the Site provides a link or reference. Accessing a third-party website is at your own discretion and risk.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. VC Law & Consultancy does not warrant that Site content will always be accurate, complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from errors or interruptions. The Firm does not undertake an obligation to update every item of information appearing on the Site. Nothing in these Terms or on the Site is intended to exclude or limit any right, liability, or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the applicable laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Firm also does not guarantee any particular legal, administrative, commercial, financial, immigration, citizenship, litigation, or other outcome for any person based on information presented on the Site. Actual outcomes depend on the facts of the matter, applicable law, competent authorities, courts, third parties, procedural requirements, and other circumstances outside the control of the Firm.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VC Law & Consultancy and its lawyers and professionals shall not be liable for losses arising out of or in connection with your access to, reliance upon, or inability to use the Site or its general informational content, including losses resulting from interruptions, technical failures, third-party websites, unauthorized access by third parties, or information that has become outdated or is not applicable to your particular circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for reckless disregard of professional obligations, fraud, scams involving the Firm or its professionals, personal injury arising from negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. The Firm is not responsible for communications, payment requests, documents, websites, social-media accounts, telephone numbers, email addresses, or other communications falsely presented by third parties as belonging to VC Law & Consultancy. Because impersonation and fraud can occur independently of the Site, you should verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent the Firm before providing information, signing documents, or making any payment. For verification guidance and official communication information, please refer to the Firm’s Scam Warning. The rights, protections, disclaimers, limitations, and exclusions afforded to VC Law & Consultancy under these Terms also apply to and may be relied upon by the Firm and each Firm professional, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, applicable law, or other relevant circumstances. The revised Terms will apply from the time they are published on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The Firm’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other right or remedy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes relating to the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye.
